Oh yes! It has rained non-stop for three hours. The desert air, mixing with rain and the slight whiff of creosote; what an intoxicating smell.
The neighborhood cats are hiding beneath parked cars; the streets are flooding; my windows are being slapped by the falling rain. Plus, I went for a stroll with my sexy leopard skin umbrella and smiled while the back of my legs got wet. The umbrella is a little small, so I have two choices: either my front stays dry or the back. I chose my front, therefore, the back of my legs were soaked by the time I unlocked my front door.
