Well, I'm heading off to camp for a few days. I haven't been camping in a year; it is more like car camping. You know, everything can be lugged in your car then dragged a few feet once a site is found and claimed. Then ten minutes to set the tent, put things inside and then admire the nearby toilet facilities.
I miss hiking a few miles, not hearing another human sound (cell phones, cars, etc.) and listening to only the squirrels chatter and the mountain blue jays claim their territory. Soon, I will hike. Until then, I will enjoy the family camping trip, run around with the kids, help prep meals and hear the latest gossip.~bye
