South West Beauty

The beauty of the American South West is in bloom, but the hot days are upon us. Soon, the Snowbirds will flock North to the cooler climes and the loco locals will lounge in the blaring desert sun. I like to describe the locals (the ones who are at least third generation South Western) as the real survivors, since they can sit outside in the blaring heat without even breaking a sweat.

Like the Snowbirds, I will be leaving the desert. Only, this time, I'm leaving nothing behind. If I visit this area (more than likely, in the Winter!) it will be as a tourist.
